modest spaces

I've come to realize that the interiors I love most are often not designed at all, but rather occupied by truly creative people and curated in a way that is so effortless, it just beckons you to come in, pour a glass of wine + prop your feet up.

Hoping to share some photos with you of my own abode before the end of the summer.

  1. Great spaces! I agree about the "natural-ness" about it.

  4. I couldn't agree more. Although I tend to be drawn to bits of feminine thrown in, I love having a natural, effortless canvas. These interiors are perfect.

  6. I have to agree with you! Anything too styled feels a little on the cold side to me.

  10. I completely agree with you. as much as I love looking at highly modern interior designs and even sometimes save the pictures for inspiration, I love these liveable spaces way more. I can't imagine living in a house where you can't be comfortable to just sit on the floor some days or put your feet up once in awhile (or everyday to be honest). and these are great pictures that you found. I especially have a fondness for subway tiles.
