Continuing our traveling Local Favorites column today with a little gem in Portland that pretty much knocks my socks off. Lowell can accurately be described as a place for everything that you can't find anywhere else. Stocked with a beautifully curated selection of furniture, textiles, jewelry, artwork, clothing, you-name-it, there seems to be a little something for everyone. Though I haven't seen Lowell in the flesh, I've been virtually window shopping from these photos since Cara sent them along last week...
Best For: Finding unique gifts for your artisan-loving friends.
Highlights: Handwoven bags from Anntorian and pottery by Liam Drain.
Recommendation: A set of Tarahumara Indian wooden spoons to prominently display in your kitchen.
