A Year in Photos
...well, not 100%. But I thought I'd take a second to reflect on 2012 before 2013 starts, and what better way to see where you've been and what you've done than scroll through your Instagram feed? I must admit it's good for that. Here are a few of my favorite photos, highlights, moments that stand out. This year was an exciting one — from starting a freelance business to moving to a new place, it's been a transition and a whole lot of learning. Every day has seemed to present a new challenge and a new lesson, whether it be in life or in business.
I have a lot of ideas on my plate for 2013, one of which is refocusing on blogging. I went to a lecture series last week where Clare Vivier spoke about building her brand through a community online, and how, for that reason, she will never neglect her involvement in the social media component of her business. It really resonated with me as I've realized I couldn't be doing what I'm doing without having had this space as a platform, and though it's a juggle these days, I don't want to leave that behind. That being said, the overhaul I've mentioned a few times is in full swing {you can see a little peek here} and this space will have a nice new look come mid-January. I'd like to take everything I've learned this past year and apply it to a fresh canvas and reconnect with what I'm doing, why I love it, and get back to sharing some good ol' content with you along the way.
Wishing you all a relaxing holiday with your friends and family, and I'll see you in the New Year!

Amazing lecture! After reading your post I used my google ninja skills to try and find the video of claire vivier (it really wasn't that hard) and to my surprise it was there! I enjoyed every minute of her short but powerful speech and I was so amazed at how honest and sincere she is!
