Inspired By » Anne Holtrop

"With the idea that all things can be perceived and conceived differently, everything can become architecture. Like in a Rorschach inkblot, a butterfly and a lake can be seen in it."

I dig it. Getting lost in Anne Holtrop's work today. The Temporary Museum and Trail House are my favorites. Kind of Richard Serra-ish — like the perfect marriage of art and architecture. Oh! And Anne is also the editor of OASE, whose graphic design is worthy of a post in and of itself.

  1. YES! I love Anne Holtrop! I actually blogged about the Trail House too last summer, so I'm in total agreement with you here. The colours, textures & shapes are sublime aren't they?
